New Electrical Installations
Whether you are renovating your home, building an extension or upgrading an existing electrical installation, we can design and install electrical systems to suit your property and requirements.
Our installation work includes new circuits, consumer units, sockets, switches, lighting, kitchen and bathroom electrics, outdoor supplies, electric heating controls and other domestic electrical installations.
All new electrical work is installed, inspected and tested in accordance with the applicable requirements of BS 7671.
Electrical Installation Certificates – EIC
Following qualifying new electrical installation work, we carry out the required inspection and testing and provide an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
The certificate records important information about the installation, including inspection results and electrical test measurements, providing evidence that the completed work has been inspected and tested.
Electrical Fault Finding
Electrical faults can range from an occasional tripping circuit to complete loss of power on part of an installation.
We provide systematic electrical fault finding to identify the cause of problems such as:

We undertake both full and partial rewires, including replacement wiring, new circuits, sockets, switches, lighting points, consumer units and associated electrical equipment.
Before starting, we can assess the existing installation and discuss the most appropriate solution for the property.
​Electrical Installation Condition Reports – EICR
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) provides a detailed assessment of the condition and safety of an existing electrical installation.
We inspect and test the installation to identify deterioration, damage, defects and other conditions that may affect electrical safety.
EICRs are commonly required by landlords and are also useful for homeowners, buyers, sellers and anyone wanting to understand the condition of an electrical installation.
Following the inspection, we provide a clear report detailing our findings and any observations requiring attention.
Consumer Unit Replacement & Upgrades
We install and replace consumer units, including modern protection such as RCDs and RCBOs where appropriate.
Before recommending a consumer unit replacement, the existing installation should be assessed to identify any faults or conditions that could affect the new equipment.
The completed installation is inspected and tested, with the appropriate electrical certification provided.
